Fortunately, fruit salad recipes are easy to make. We have several recipes on our site that are quick, easy and delicious.
But do all fruits go well together? You might think so, but it’s not always the case. Some fruits are better complements than others, especially when combined into a fresh fruit salad. So which fruits pair well together? And which fruits go well with kiwifruit?
Fruits That Go Well with Kiwi
If you’re looking to mix fruits, the following fruits will go well with both varieties of kiwifruit:
apple, cherry, orange, banana, papaya, pineapple, peaches, grapes, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, watermelon, strawberries, lemon, lime, mango, passion fruit, tomatillo, coconut, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries and tangerine.
This is a great mix of fruits and berries that have nice fiber content.
Recipe Tip: The texture of kiwifruit and strawberries is very similar. For any recipe that calls for strawberries, try substituting with kiwifruit. While their textures are similar, kiwifruit has a leg-up on nutritional value — especially with its fiber content. Kiwifruit have both soluble and insoluble fiber, a rarity among fruits.
